DMCA Notice
Last updated: August 15, 2026
Dooxee sells licensed digital editions of books published by other people. If you hold rights in a work listed on this site and believe it is here without permission, this page is how you tell us, and we act on properly formed notices quickly.
Designated agent
Under Section 512 of the Copyright Act, as enacted through the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Blanq LLC designates the following agent to receive notifications of claimed infringement:
- Copyright Agent, Blanq LLC
- Email: contact@dooxee.com (write DMCA Notice in the subject line)
- Post: Copyright Agent, Blanq LLC, 1201 South Hope Street Apt 2413, Los Angeles, CA 90015, USA
- Phone: +1 (432) 698-0313
Email reaches us fastest. We acknowledge a notice within 2 business days and, where it is complete, remove or disable access to the material within 1 business day of that acknowledgement.
What a notice must contain
To be effective, your notification should include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the right being infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, where several works are covered by one notification, a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough information for us to locate it. A direct link to the product page and the ISBN shown on it is ideal.
- Information sufficient for us to contact you: name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the right being infringed.
An incomplete notification may not be valid. If something is missing we will tell you what, rather than ignoring it.
What happens next
On receipt of a complete notice we may immediately remove or disable access to the identified material without liability to the party who supplied it. We notify our supplier of the removal and pass on your notice. Where the same rights holder or the same supplier generates repeated valid notices, we terminate the relationship rather than keep processing them one at a time.
Counter-notification
If material you supplied has been removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notification. To be effective it must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who gave the original notice or their agent.
Send counter-notifications to the same address above. We forward them to the original complainant and, unless they file a court action seeking to restrain the activity, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days.
Misuse
Both notices and counter-notices are made under penalty of perjury. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, carries liability for damages under Section 512(f). Please be sure before you send one.
A note on how our catalog works
We license the digital editions we sell through publishers and authorized distributors, and we do not list a title we do not hold the right to distribute. We do not sell scanned or user-uploaded files, and there is no way for a member of the public to add a title to this site. Where something has slipped through a supplier feed in error, we want to know and we will take it down.
